This limited-edition 2006 two-CD set contains all of the tracks from the North Mississippi Allstar's first two albums: 51 PHANTOM and their stellar debut SHAKE HANDS WITH SHORTY. The sons of southern music legend Jim Dickinson, Luther and Cody Dickinson cut their teeth jamming with the likes of R.L. Burnside, Billy Lee Riley, and the Replacements. Given the band's pedigree, it's not surprising that they arrived with a confident, studied, and fully-formed rendering of the blues. Fans will most likely already have both discs, but this package makes a nice one-stop pick-up for the uninitiated.
