Product Notes

Shahrukh Khan expertly juggles dual roles in DUPLICATE, a hilarious action-comedy from director Mahesh Bhatt. Khan plays Bablu, a bumbling but sweet aspiring chef, who lives at home with his mother Bibi (Farida Jalal) and has started to fall in love with the manager of his restaurant, Sonia (Juhi Chawla). Kahn also plays Manu, a dangerous and merciless criminal, who just happens to look exactly like Bablu; even Manu's girlfriend, Lily (Sonali Bendre), can't tell them apart. Through a maze of confusion and mistaken identity, Bablu has to evade the police, clear his name, and protect his loved ones while trying to figure out how to prevent his criminal mirror image from stealing his identity.
