First line

In 1979 few poker players understood the secret mechanics of poker strategy, but two-time World Series of Poker champion Doyle "Texas Dolly" Brunson changed all that with his revolutionary book SUPER SYSTEM. The book, coauthored with such poker professionals as Chip Reese, Mike Caro, and David Sklansky, explained the basic strategy for a variety of games including Razz, Draw, and Stud, but it was Brunson's chapters on No-Limit Texas Hold 'Em that provided the most profound revelations about how to play "power poker." Brunson offered three fundamental tips on how to play winning no-limit poker: aggression, aggression, and more aggression. Brunson advocated a tactic of relentless pounding that could, if properly implemented, run over a poker table. By his own admission, the book cost Brunson millions of dollars as players adapted to his style, and decades later it is still considered the bible of the game.
