Additional personnel: Aaron Shaw (bagpipe); Jay Atwood (didjeridu); Robert Berry (keyboards); Keith Jones (snare drum, djembe); Warren Casey (tapan).

The progressive folk-rock band Tempest use the story of the seaman and pirate Captain Kidd as a foundation for several songs on their energetic and accomplished selection of contemporary folk, which also includes the serpentine Celtic instrumental "Cabar Feidh," their adaptation of the Norwegian folk song "Per Spelman," and a version of the old folk song "Hangman."
