Product Notes

Doc Watson, considered one of the best flat-picking guitarist and folk artists, performs here with his son Merle in a 1980 concert. Michael Coleman joins them on bass. Playing tunes ranging from jazz to bluegrass to country, the formidable duo showcases their best work. The program also includes footage from a concert in Rock Hill, South Carolina and an interview with the pair in their hometown of Deep Gap, North Carolina.
