I liked her other album 20 year old and Im lovin discipline. My thing is if you
love more than 4 songs on a CD buy it. The album is worth every penny. My favs
are Rock with U, The 1, 2Nite, Whats youre name, Rollercoaster and So much
better. This album hit #1 so its gotta be good.
Futuristic crisp Japanese inspired R&B & Animated light-techno DISCIPLINE, March 3, 2008

I just finished beating Mega Man Battle Network 3, and boy what a great game.
Then it just hit me how similar Janets new album sounds to some of the songs on
this GBA game. "Discipline" is a light-weight feel free collecton. Perhaps the
smoothest sounding janet album to date. With extreme low bass lines and brillant
crisp trebel-looped pop/r&b refined songs, "Discipline" introduces and yet
holds-back somewhat, the futuristic super-star being that Janet is now still
creating.
Its a shame however how the albums repeatative lyrics and janets
repeatative vocal whoooos & whaaaaas make the album sound distilledand a
recreation of her 1984 electro sounding gem of an album "DREAM STREET".
