If these were covers of other songwriters, then Ray LaMontagne would be one of
the best new interpreters on the scene that these are original songs places
LaMontagne squarely in the pantheon of the greatest singer-sognwriters out
there.  Clearly evolved from his last two albums, which were stunning in their
own right, this effort is both more accessible, a bit more beat-full, and yet no
less deep, introspective and evocative.  This music will stand the test of time.

Ray LaMontagne has the most beautiful, soft, soothing voice Ive ever heard. It
reminds me of being sung to sleep when I was a child. His songs are lyrical,
melodic, and uplifting. Unbelievable artist!
