The White Tiger is an eye-opening portrait of a New India - Though the middle
class is growing and Indian society is developing at an astounding pace, there
are still such significant inequalities between the classes and prejudices that
are deeply ingrained in the society.  Not only is this book an illuminating
portrait of modern indian society, but it is a beautifully written, unique book.
Aravind Adiga won the Man Booker Prize for his debut novel, an honor The White
Tiger highly deserves.  A great book from an interesting young writer.
