Although a single 61 minute track, it never tires in its gentle variation. Now
23 years old, this is one of the very few albums of that period which I feel is
ageless and which I still play regularly. As Eno intended, it colours a room
with its mood. Sometimes described, unfairly I would say, as new age - it brings
a sense of well-being without the saccharine qualities of much of that genre.
It possesses, instead, some sense of duende.
