Title Note

One of the masters of minimalist techno, electronica artist Richie Hawtin serves up another superb program with DE9: TRANSITIONS. Hawtin's creations are extremely sophisticated and cerebral, full of carefully crafted atmospheres and subtle detail that passes through the listener's mind like a chain of associations. At the same time, the music is pulsing, primal, and full of molecular urgency. This is IDM that works both on the dancefloor and in the armchair, and is equally engaging either way.
