The sophomore release from melodic hard rockers Course of Nature delivers more of the radio-ready, guitar-fueled tunage fans came to know and love on the band's first release. Frontman Mark Wilkerson knows how to craft a catchy song (he penned "It's Not Over," which was recorded by American Idol's Chris Daughtry and went on to become a #1 single), and that skill is on ample display throughout DAMAGED. The lead-off single, "Anger Cage," calls to mind classic grunge bands like Alice in Chains, but with a more listener-friendly feel, while power ballads like "Memory of You" proves Wilkerson's facility with a heart-tugging melody.
