The most remarkable aspect of the album is its elaborate, dramatic production style, closest to what fellow Southerners the Geto Boys were doing a decade earlier. "Money Didn't Change Me" hearkens back to the best of the horror rap genre, a cautionary tale delivered in the swaggering manner of Big Daddy Kane.
