D-DAY is an incredible debut disc. The Allies take turntablism to the level of high art in an absolutely dazzling display--it's like Fourth Of July fireworks for your ears. Imagine John Oswald (Plunderphonic) gettin' the groove down deep in his soul. Now imagine some hardcore hip-hop artist gettin' all weird and abstract. Now imagine that sound being accessible to extremists of either camp. Yep, you got it, the Allies are capable of appealing to both camps with their amazing depth and imagination.

While the beats on this disc go straight to your feet, the sounds go straight to your head. Thick and involved, they will keep you coming back for another listen. The Allies bring to life an old clichT: They will rock your body and blow your mind.
