Down Beat (8/95, p.44) - 4 Stars - "...juicy lyricism, gentle attack and flirtatious low register....serious musicians would do well to consider these elements, as made manifest on this fine CD....both elegance and rhythmic variety in nearly everything he plays....a lovely and loving jazz performance from all concerned..."
JazzTimes (3/96, pp.101-102) - "...this is an enjoyable and comfortable affair, as of old friends well met....Delivered with relaxed authority, Braff's cello-like tone is enchanting....Their nonchalance, fortunately, is not consistently controlled, and several choruses peak with emotional intensity."
