jackin4beats.com movie, February 15, 2009

Consignment is rough and raw. I ordered it off tower video after hearing Tim
Beachum of Jackin4beats.com fame was involved as an actor. He represented
himself well. Hes no Glenn Plummer at this point in time. He is better than Cuba
Gooding Jr. hands down.
They kept it simple in Consignment. A Virginia Beach
drug dealer has to flee to So Cal after beef starts with his boss. He ends up
dealing speed for heavy Mexican gangsters that are ruthless. All hell breaks
loose. I liked the story. It was never boring.

Consignment surprised me, January 26, 2009

Consignment is stuffed with action. It gets right to the point without useless
BS. Im sick of cheap urban movies that have video of the city over and over with
nothing happen. Consignment jumps right in. The story is pretty damn sweet. Its
about a black drug dealer from Virginia Beach that brings his show to So Cal. He
has to adjust to how the Mexicans handle business. He teams up with a Mexican
dealer and they explode. Like Puffy said more money more problems. The ending
was perfect. Two new faces shined. Jerome Hawkins as Carmelo. Think O-Dog from
Menace II Society. Tim Beachum as Tommy. Think Kane from Menace II Society. I
almost forgot to share there is a super fine girl that strips. Puts most
strippers to shame.

urban movie masterpiece, January 25, 2009

Consignment stars Tim Beachum as smooth drug dealer Tommy Jones and Ruben
Navarro as crystal meth distributor Smiles is directed by Sid Kali. This urban
gangster movie is a fast ride through the crystal meth business. It is a well
done independent gangster movie. The stand out is the realism in the way the
story is told. The language and characters come across as authentic. Great to
see Black, Latino, Asian, White, and Native-American characters represented. You
dont see that mix in gangster movies today. Director Sid Kali shows some great
street action in this one including many shootings. In this gangster movie they
did not shy away from showing nudity. Based on true events, Consignment is about

consignment movie all about it, October 16, 2008

i gotta give consignment respect . no doubt dudes that made this movie know
which way the streets run when you step outside. it was hot the way it went down
when a high power shot caller told dude straight out that he knew he was selling
go fast to a black drug dealer behind his back collecting that money. if you
watch that cut and listen you will hear an old school word i aint heard in
years. they slide that one in. people outside of Califas have no idea how it
runs between blacks and the raza. consignment aint no soft serve ice cream.
people out there putting in work will get this movie from get go. my two
favorite cuts outta this is when homegirl takes it off to strip making that
booty clap and when homeboy gets caught slipping by a lame trying to catch his
old lady cheating on him.

Better movie than whats shown on box, October 9, 2008
By Jim S.
When I pulled consignment off the shelf it looked iffy to me. When I read the
plot was about Tommy Jones money-making drug dealer it made me chuckle. How more
lame of a phrase is that??? I only it rented to see how bad it would be. I was
completely wrong. Most times DVD covers are misleading making a awful movies
look worth watching. Opposite with consignment. The DVD cover misled me to
believe this movie was iffy to watch when the movie was much better than
packaging showed.
Do not always judge a DVD by what you see or read on a
cover. Tommy Jones is a drug dealer from Virginia Beach that suffers from panic
attacks caused by his line of work. Tommys boss unsuccessfully tries to have him
killed by Panamanian and African-American gunmen. Tommy flees to Southern Cal
with his wife. Shortly after arriving he takes up with his hot tempered criminal
cousin Carmelo. The situation goes from bad to worse after Carmelo executes a
motorcycle gang member and corrupt cop. Tommys new plan is to relocate to Canada
with wife and cousin when he has enough money. Tommy starts to make money
selling drugs he buys off a Mexican gang member that knows his wife. Tommy is to
good at what he does because he and the Mexican gang member are making money
fast brining in a more powerful Mexican drug dealer that makes Tommy take his
drugs on consignment. The Mexican drug dealer forces Tommy in to a drug debt.
Then a perfect storm happens. A secret his wife has is exposed...a drug war
breaks out that pulls Tommy in deeper...his boss back in Virginia Beach wants to
hurt every one he loves before finally killing him.
There is nothing flashy
about this movie. Story was excellent going emotionally deeper than expected. I
cheered for Tommy Jones. Most actors were pretty good even though none have been
in any other movie Ive seen. Best were Tim Beachum who seemed believable as
anxious drug dealer Tommy Jones...Jerome Hawkins made me hate Carmelo. That
means he did his job. Carmelo was not a likable character in any way.
Consignment went overboard on 2 parts that seemed out of place in the movie.
Asian drug addict with fully exposed breasts simulates oral sex on Carmelo for
drugs. What was the point??? To not be out done later on a drug dealers mistress
decides GEE why dont I strip shaking my butt for no reason??? I wish movies like
this would stop feeling they have to show T & A to sell. This movie didnt need
those gimmicks.

Killer urban movie, August 8, 2008
By Red Hook
Consignment is a legit movie about the game. Gets down with the dirty business
of dealing speed and killing to keep your respect. Movie never lets up at all.
This is one of the realist gangster movies Ive checked out in a while. It has a
Black and Latino hook the to story that was real tight. Good to see that spin. I
watch tons of movies about drug dealing. This one was fresh cuz the way the
people spoke and acted rang true. Were talking at least a dozen people getting
smoked or smoking somebody. Like they say smoke or get smoked. The strip show on
this DVD is hotter than the 4th of July. Some thumping hip hop reggaeton music
plays while this hottie dances losing clothes as she goes. That was like a super
hot bonus. There are some real bad cats in this joint. I watched Consignment a
few times already. If you like movies about drug dealing on the street this is
your ticket. Dont skip the deleted scenes on this one cuz they are smoking hot!
This is a real strong movie repping.

Consignment is a throwback gangster movie, November 15, 2007
By Akwan E.
Consignment is one the hottest indie DVDs out. I loved this full out gangster
movie. Its long on murder and drug dealing. The story had a fast flow. Nothing
fake about Consignment. It was rough and tough in your face. I was totally
entertained. I gotta say the striptease in this movie was HOT HOT HOT! This sexy
Latin beauty dances and strips seductively for 3 minutes strong on camera. Do
not miss the deleted scenes on this DVD. They are smoking hot and racy. This is
a 100% gangster story told with powerful images and words. Check it out.
