This late-period entry into the Dylan-on-a-budget series features two releases produced by Daniel Lanois--Dylan's 1989 return to form, the swampy, organic OH MERCY (as referenced in the artist's autobiography, CHRONICLES), and the regretful, desolate TIME OUT OF MIND. Dylan's first album of the new millennium, the spunky, energetic LOVE AND THEFT, was an unexpected burst of energy from the perennial shape-shifter that won over critics and public alike.
