The ex-Luscious Jackson singer Jill Cunniff's sunny solo debut was recorded in Martha's Vineyard, and it exudes that resort's laid-back vibe mixed with Cunniff's downtown New York hipster sensibility, which is still in full effect in the summery-sounding samples of the radio-friendly "Happy Warriors," and the swaying, relaxed "Lazy Girls," with its intoxicating blend of pop, folk, and hip-hop.
