Held at New York's famed Blue Note jazz club, this concert was part of a Grammy-winning series that provided a retrospective of the career of legendary jazz pianist Chick Corea. As prolific as he has been virtuosic, Corea's career has encompassed many productive collaborations, and this show saw the reunion of his Akoustic Band, featuring John Patitucci and Dave Weckl. Performing together for the first time in more than 10 years, the trio played their perennial favorite, "Humpty Dumpty," as well as John Coltrane's "Bessie's Blues," and Corea's own "Spain."
