Recorded by ethno-musicologist Deben Bhattacharya on his various journeys through India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Taiwan, China, and Tibet, this disc provides a rare and remarkable glimpse into the seldom heard musical aspect of these ceremonial rituals.
