While prolific New Age composer Markoe gently minds the wooden flutes, chimes, and other soothing instruments in the background, Stacey Dean lays out some tranquilizing instruction designed to align and balance the listener's charkas (the spinning wheels of light inside the body that serve as energy markers and symbols to aid focus in meditation.). Newcomers to the meditations involved in chakra balancing will find this a perfect place to start, as Dean keeps it very simple, patiently instructing the listener breath by breath, making it easy to surrender to the moment and slip into an altered state of consciousness, even for those for whom this sort of thing might be difficult.
