Title Note

A throwback to the hard-partying heavy metal of the early 1980s, Toronto's Cauldron seem to have grown up on a steady diet of Dio-era Sabbath, Dokken, and Judas Priest, among others. CHAINED TO THE NITE makes no attempt to reinvent the wheel, but revels in the dirty details of this kind of frayed denim, black leather rock & roll. There's a sense of humor to songs like "Chained Up in Chains" and "Midnight Hour" that reveal a band fully aware of how goofy some of this stuff is, but it isn't stopping them from having a great time doing it.
