CELTIC THUNDER THE SHOW, the audio companion for the popular PBS television special, showcases the five Irish vocalists in their ideal setting, a stage in Dublin. Celtic Thunder thrives on the contrast of its various voices (four tenors and a baritone) creating a surreal musical landscape. Paul Byrum's assured operatic tones on "Remember Me (Recuerdeme)" crest against the doleful pop of Ryan Kelly's "Desperado" and the nascent rumble of Darien McGinty on "Come By the Hills." The concert is tied together by the steady hand of songwriter/pianist Phil Coulter, who also produced the show.

From the producer of Celtic Woman comes Celtic Thunder!

This all-male group is composed of five singers between the ages of 14 and 40. Damian McGinty, Keith Harkin, Ryan Kelly, Paul Byrom and George Donaldson have all had some success in their solo careers (young as they may be) but nothing that matches the popularity and exposure that Celtic Thunder has brought them.

Musical masterminds, Sharon Browne and Phil Coulter, continue to expand their horizons with this self-titled release “Celtic Thunder” on the Decca (USA) record label. This album release follows the PBS special, “Celtic Thunder: The Show”, which was filmed over two nights in Dublin. The show featured solo as well as group performances backed by The Celtic Concert Orchestra. This recording includes great interpretations of Celtic classics such as "The Mountains of Mourne" (Keith Harkin) and "Ireland's Call" (Celtic Thunder). The artists possess great vocal talent and flexibility including the young 14 year-old prodigy, Damian McGinty. The musical maturity of this group can clearly be heard on their first album “Celtic Thunder”.

Coming from Vegas, I feel Im a bit jaded when it comes to reviewing other non-Vegas shows, but this production was more than that. It was outstanding! I expected to have goosebumps during the show due to the possession of Irish genes, but my husband does not - yet he was left speechless many times. This is a dont miss show! We saw it just last weekend & have since purchased the DVD & got tickets to see them again in Wilkes-Barre Scranton next month. Now that I know what to expect I can sit & wait for my favorites to come. 14 year old Damian McGinty most certainly has a huge career ahead of him & even though theyve all had careers previous to this show, this will launch them to stardom world wide I have no doubt.

I saw this show which by the way will be in Baltimore, Md. This show came on a PBS station. These Guys will Blow You Away!!!! They were fantastic. I cant wait to get the Cd and I might even buy the Video, PBS wanted a pledge of 150.00 for both... I gotta have it I loved it and the Goose Pimples were constant. Check out the 15 year old male singer!!! WOW and a cutie even for these old eyes!!
