CECILIA & BRYN opens with the first two scenes of 'Le Nozze di Figaro,' with Bartoli and Terfel in the roles they sang to great acclaim at the Metropolitan Opera just a few months after this recording was made. Myung-Whun Chung and his Santa Cecilia Orchestra provide spirited accompaniment for this pair of stars, both of whom are captured here in radiant form at the beginnings of their careers.
