Carnival of Blood (1970, 88 min.) - A lunatic on the loose turns Coney Island into a Carnival of Blood as he rids the world of hilariously annoying women via gory murders in the splatter style of Herschell Gordon Lewis. Investigating the bloodshed are Dan, a gung-ho district-attorney-in-training, and his reluctant finacee, Laura. "Curse of the Headless Horseman" (1972, 80 min.) - When med student Mark Callahan inherits his uncle's Wild West tourist attraction, he also inherits the Curse of the Headless Horseman. Though the creepy caretaker warns him that the place is haunted, Mark and his semi-hippie friends nevertheless move into the place and, sure enough, the cranium-missing cowboy appears, terrifying the hippies by splashing blood on them.

Two campy gore movies of the 1970's are paired on this bloody collector's release. In the first, CARNIVAL OF BLOOD, a nutcase with a taste for murder runs loose in Coney Island, violently killing all of the women he meets. CURSE OF THE HEADLESS HORSEMAN starts when a hippie medical student named Mark inherits his uncle's Wild West theme park. Mark and his stoner pals move in, only to find out that a violent ghost already lives there.
