Contains the band's debut album, CAN'T STAND THE REZILLOS, both sides of a UK-only single and their UK-only live album, MISSION ACCOMPLISHED...BUT THE BEAT GOES ON.

Personnel: Eugene Reynolds, Fay Fife (vocals); John Callis (guitar, vocals); William Mysterious (bass, saxophone); Simon Templar (bass); Angel Paterson (drums); Gail Warning (background vocals).

Producers include: Bob Clearmountain, Tony Bongiovi, Lance Quinn, The Rezillos, Martin Rushent.

Tracks 16-28 recorded live at the Glasgow Apollo on December 23, 1978 and engineered by Tim Summerhayes. Includes liner notes by Ira Robbins.

Digitally remastered by Lee Herschberg.

Brash, high-powered, and endlessly fun, CAN'T STAND THE REZILLOS: THE (ALMOST) COMPLETE REZILLOS is a perfect overview of the short-lived punk act. The title of the collection is a statement of fact: This album includes most of the Rezillos recorded output with the exception of some singles, covers, and live cuts. But the material that is here-- which includes the band's stellar debut and the live MISSION ACCOMPLISHED-- shows off the Rezillos' exuberant charm, bratty, punk-rock edge, and girl-group-inflected sense of pop to superb effect, making this compilation a minor punk classic.
