The Mount Pleasant, Michigan, collective known as Anathallo have been crafting ambient soft-rock dirges since they debuted in 2001 with their independently recorded LP, LUMINOUS LUMINENCE IN THE ATLAS POSITION. Two years after their first nationally distributed effort, FLOATING WORLD, the eclectic seven-man ensemble presents their Anticon debut, CANOPY GLOW--a collection of 10 mellow, subtle songs that utilize sparse instrumentation to a dreamlike effect.
