Album Description

Paco de Lucia aside, nobody in Nuevo Flamenco comes near Camaron de la Isla, who died recently in his early 40s. Cubanisms, jazz-fusion, flamenco-with-strings, like de Lucia he did it all; like De Lucia too (and no other New Flamenco artists) he built on an ability to perform the classic forms superbly, with freshness and relevance.
