No other team in baseball history has kept of the public imagination as much as the Brooklyn Dodgers, whose storied achievements throughout the 1940s and '50s mirrored those of the nation throughout the same period (especially Jackie Robinson's historic demolition of the color line in 1947). Hosted by author Roger Kahn (THE BOYS OF SUMMER), this nostalgic documentary pays tribute to "Dem Bums" through archival footage and interviews with Pee Wee Reese, Duke Snider, Roy Campanella, Mickey Mantle, Don Drysdale, Carl Erskine, Ernie Banks, and Stan Musial.
