Armed with a mini-cam, Britney records the behind-the-scenes antics of her Onyx Hotel Tour (and her growing relationship with unemployed backup dancer Federline) with the wide-eyed eagerness of a (sometimes drunk) child. We learn a lot about Britney from the show, and less about Kevin, who retains a mysterious silence throughout. Frequently urging Britney to put the camera away, Kevin responds to her questions about love with vague answers like "Love is.....love". In between making piggy faces for the camera, discussing her sex life with her entourage, and following Kevin into the shower with the camera, Britney rehearses, has her hair done, performs, and works out. This exhibitionism is intercut with more recent footage of an older and wiser Britney and Kevin reflecting on the early days of their union.
