Review

Kerrang (Magazine) (p.50) - "[T]heir no-frills approach is effective in a belligerently bludgeoning way."

Title Note

Chrome Division: Eddie Guz (vocals); Ricky Black, Shagrath (guitar, background vocals); Luna (bass guitar, background vocals); Tony White (drums).

Recording information: Studio Fredman, Gothenburg, Sweden (2008).

With a sound that recalls the black leather toughness of M”t”rhead and the wickedness of Venom, Chrome Division is pure rock-&-roll fun for serious headbangers who need a break. Guitarist Shagrath, normally of complex, symphonic black metal adventurers Dimmu Borgir, rips into the opportunity to play the smoke-and-booze-weathered rock he grew up on. Vocalist Eddie Guz does his best Lemmy on hard-driving rumble-strips like "Hate This Town" and the snarling biker anthem "Doomsday Rider," and everybody has a blast covering ZZ Top's dusty MTV standard, "Sharp Dressed Man."
