Before Pitbull's THE BOATLIFT was even released it spawned two popular singles in the form of the smooth R&B ballad "Secret Admirer" and the spare, dancefloor-packing club smash "Go Girl." The latter track is more indicative of the vibe on THE BOATLIFT, which finds Pitbull drawing on both Miami and Dirty South sounds, with a fair dose of reggaeton here and there, to make a potent hardcore hip-hop cocktail. Lil Jon, Don Omar, Twista, and others make guest appearances on this high-energy party album.
