Guitarist John Platania has played as a sideman on many important releases by artists like Van Morrison and Randy Newman, and in 2002 finally got around to recording a solo album. This 2007 all-instrumental follow-up showcases Platania's brilliant and supple acoustic and electric guitar work, with an emphasis on traditional American forms.
