This three-volume set of instrumentals from the Portland, Oregon band is a blend of space rock and esoteric folk music, held together with liberal doses of electronica. "Stray Dog" conjures Indian ragas, while "Back to the Monastery" combines the experimental glory days of Krautrock bands like Can and Tangerine Dream with musical explorations in the spirit of sonic pioneers like the band's fellow Northwesterner, John Fahey.
