Bird3 creates an interesting amalgam, with the directness of classic rock and the lean, streamlined concepts of alternative rock. Elements of bands such as the Foo Fighters, Dave Matthews, the Smashing Pumpkins, and the Who can be felt, and the band's presentation includes an interesting balance of acoustic and electric guitars and intricate drumming.. This eponymous record was produced by studio wiz Nick Didia, who has also worked with alternative rock luminaries Peal Jam and Stone Temple Pilots.
