Title Note

New traditionalist country singer John Anderson was at the forefront of incorporating an authentic honky tonk sound into contemporary country music. After 2007's progressive EASY MONEY, Anderson reunited with James Stroud, producer of several of the Florida-born vocalist's biggest hits, for the classic-sounding BIGGER HANDS. On tracks such as the shuffling "Cold Coffee and Hot Beer" and the tropical-tinged "Hawaia in Hawaii," careening steel guitars and fiddles add teer-in-the-beer melancholy to Anderson's yearning, whiskey-soaked vocals.
