Curb's Best of Tommy Roe is an unsatisfying and schizophrenic collection that combines his classic bubblegum hits of the '60s with some non-hit material from the '70s. Unlike many Roe budget collections, "Sheila," "Sweet Pea," "Dizzy," and "Everybody" are the original hit versions. The rest of the tracks are easygoing country-rock tunes that are not especially noteworthy, certainly not hits and certainly not worthy of being side by side with his real hits. There are better places to get a hold of the hits, so give this disc a pass. ~ Tim Sendra

Best of Tommy Roe is a ten-track budget-priced collection that features some of his biggest hits, including "Dizzy," "Sheila," "Early in the Morning," "Sweet Pea" and "Barbara Lou." Although this isn't a bad budget-priced disc, there are far better Roe collections available, offering more songs and better sound for not much more money. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine
