Best of Old School Players is a egregiously misleading. While the songs themselves are some of the finest electro and bass records of the '80s and '90s, these are not original recordings, but rather renditions done by studio musicians and session vocalists. Songs including J.J. Fad's "Supersonic," Salt-N-Pepa's "Push It," and two Kraftwerk classics, "Numbers" and "It's More Fun to Compute." There are innumerable budget-priced releases with the original recordings of these classics available, and listeners are best advised to steer clear of this and opt for those instead. ~ Rob Theakston
