With only four studio albums to his name, a BEST OF release from R&B artist Donell Jones might seem a bit premature, but the 13 tracks on the disc make such speculations moot. A fine craftsman of smooth, immediately appealing R&B, Jones can sing as well as write, and BEST is an nicely assembled overview of his talents. His duet with TLC's Lisa Lopes "U Know What's Up," the elegant, mid-tempo ballad "You Know That I Love You," and Jones's cover of Stevie Wonder's "Knocks Me Off Feet" are among the set's highlights.
