Title Note

Beau Brummels: Sal Valentino (vocals); Ron Elliot (guitar); Declan Mulligan (bass guitar); John Petersen (drums).

Additional personnel: Ron Meagher (guitar); Dan Levitt (banjo); Mark Jordan (piano); Victor Feldman (percussion).

Despite releasing a batch of definitive albums in the mid 1960s, it seems the Beau Brummels had unfinished business. After falling apart towards the end of the decade, they reconvened for a reunion album in 1975. Miraculously, they were able to pick up right where they left off. The graceful pop mastery of Ron Elliott's songwriting and the soulful glow of Sal Valentino's voice mate just as seamlessly here as they did in the band's glory days. And while the Brums updated their sound enough to keep from sounding like '60s relics, there's not the faintest whiff of dated '70s sounds grafted on to their classic style.
