Annotation

Forgiveness may be an act of courage, love, or possibly obedience. While it can be a moment in time, it is often experienced as a process. Several aspects of forgiveness (mercy, justice, righteousness, love, and restoration) are depicted in poetic imagery in a beach setting. The photos reflect the beauty of the Hawaiian Islands and in particular Oahu, the Big Island, and Maui. Contained in this short poem is wisdom beyond me. I hope you'll join me at the beach, dip your toes in the sand and experience the blessing of forgiveness. S. C. White is a Northwest native raised on beautiful Fidalgo Island in Washington State. Although she has lived and traveled through much of the world, she loves the beaches of the Pacific Ocean, which inspires much of her creativity. S.C. currently spends her time working, writing poetry, volunteering, and enjoying her three children, two of whom reside in Seattle, the other in New York City.
