Title Note

BACK HOME TO CLARKSDALE is a tribute to Muddy Waters by ex-members of his various bands. It was recorded live in Clarksdale, Mississippi (Waters' home town) on the occassion of a fundraising drive for the Delta Blues Museum. Part of the profits from this 2-disc set will be donated to the museum.

Reunion Blues Band: Louis Myers (guitar); Mojo Buford (vocals, harmonica); Pinetop Perkins (vocals, piano); Bob Stroger (bass); Ted Harvey (drums).

Recorded live at The Cotton Exchange, Clarksdale, Mississippi on April 21, 1988. Includes liner notes by John Mohead.
