The natural companion to BABY'S BEDTIME, 1995's BABY'S MORNINGTIME is a set of bouncy little folk-type songs for small children by Judy Collins, accompanied by multi-instrumentalist Ernest Troost. The mellow, minor-key companion volume is equally lulling for parents and children alike, but it's possible that some parents might find the relentlessly peppy BABY'S MORNINGTIME a bit much to take, at least before they've had their coffee. As with BABY'S BEDTIME, the best songs are the traditional folk tunes, like "One Misty Moisty Morning" and "The Year's at the Spring," which would not sound out of place on one of Collins' regular albums. These albums are available separately or together.
