Title Note

BABY NEEDS MOZART. Okay, maybe "needs" is too strong a word for some, but dare we call this "The Mozart Effect For The Bottle-Fed"? It's never too early (or too late, Moms and Dads and Aunts and Uncles and Grandparents) to develop and appreciation for classical music.

This album includes only Mozart works, but some unusual repertoire (like the "Larghetto" movement from the piano-wind quintet in Eb) and arrangements of more well-known fare (such as "Eine Kleine Nachtmusik" played with flute) are represented. So just because you have a disc of "The Best of Mozart" doesn't mean that you can't add to it with this album.

There is nothing jarring or abrupt about the selections chosen for this album, so it can be used for baby's playtime or to lull the little one into a peaceful nap. The performers don't disappoint if you're looking for lyrical and adept.
