Anyone missing the guitar-wielding urgency of PJ Harvey's first two albums should add some Salt to their musical diet. Hailing from Stockholm, Sweden, this powerful trio combines a pummeling rhythm section with Nina Ramsby's sometimes shrill/sometimes innocent guitar and vocal phrasing. Sweet-sounding as opposed to salty (duh!), AUSCULATE shows a tasty side to dynamic guitar pop.
