This collection includes five films from the "Angelique" series: ANGELIQUE, ANGELIQUE: ROAD TO VERSAILLES, ANGELIQUE AND THE KING, UNTAMABLE ANGELIQUE, and ANGELIQUE AND THE SULTAN. The films are based on the novels by Anne and Serge Golon, which follow the adventures of the heroic Angelique, a 17th century temptress who rises from a simple country background to become a daring crime solver. Each of these films stars Michele Mercier as the title character and Robert Hossein as her husband.
