AMERICAN SOLDIER, QueensrËœche's 12th studio release, culminates in a full-album concept, similar to their 1988 rock opera masterpiece, OPERATION: MINDCRIME. The primary difference is that this time around, QueensrËœche are not weaving a tale. Rather, they recount and incorporate the emotions and experiences of members of America's armed forces, weaving anecdotes by veterans from World War II all the way through Iraq into a metallic tapestry of palpable intensity. AMERICAN SOLDIER is a moving tribute to the endurance, courage, and discipline of enlisted men throughout history.
