"American Axe: Live in 1974" features guitar legend, Roy Buchanan in a scorching set of previously unreleased music that captures Roy in peak form. Joining Roy Buchanan is the band that performed with him throughout most of the 1970's--Malcolm Lukens on organ, John Harrison on bass, Byrd Foster on drums, and Roy Buchanan on his Fender Telecaster. The set highlights both Roy Buchanan classics ('The Messiah Will Come Again', 'Hey Joe', and 'Sweet Dreams') as well as unrecorded songs ('Get Out of My Life, Woman', and a Roy Buchanan original 'Done Daddy Dirty').
