This two-disc release from Collectables pairs two of Atlantic Starr's late-'80s albums for Warner Bros., All in the Name of Love (1986) and We're Movin' Up (1989). Between the two albums, the group charted seven singles, including their biggest hit, the ballad "Always" (a number one hit on the R&B, Hot 100, and Adult Contemporary charts). Two others -- "One Lover at a Time" and "My First Love" -- were also major R&B radio favorites. Beyond the singles, not much has held up well, but the number of Atlantic Starr anthologies including all of the significant hits within this set is zero. As of this 2008 release, the Hip-O label's Ultimate Collection, released in 2000, came the closest. ~ Andy Kellman
