Title Note

Originally released in 2004 but finally given a vinyl issue in 2009, ALL DAY is a brief four-track EP that in retrospect has become one of the Lawrence, Kansas indie pop duo's pivotal releases. The three original tracks mark a leap forward in Mates of State's songwriting ability, specifically the opening "Goods (All In Your Head)," which was the organ and drums duo's most complex and catchiest song up to that point, A giddy but not silly cover of David Bowie's 1972 hit "Starman" closes out the EP on a sweet, unassuming note.
