AETERNA is a musical meditation on eternity and the afterlife that avoids the clichTs of the "space music" genre, sounding more like Faure's REQUIEM than Muzak. Synthesizers abound on this recording, but the piano bears the main musical themes, while human choral singing provides most of the spine-tingling moments. This 1995 release is the follow-up to her 1986 magnum opus NOVUS MAGNIFICAT.
